Source abstract
The issue of infertility after cancer in adolescents extends beyond reproduction alone. Fertility refers to a fantasy-based and erotic world that is brutally disrupted by the consequences of the disease, particularly those related to treatment. Through the clinical case of a 19-year-old patient in remission for three years following acute lymphoblastic leukemia, this article explores the psychosexual consequences of undiagnosed infertility. It also presents the sexological tools implemented to help her reinvest in her sexuality in a positive dimension, beyond reproductive concerns.
